Today I went on a two mile walk with friends from my "Mommy" group. While it was a casual walk, I'm a fatty, so I was sweating. It was good, but really not too challenging.
So tonight I went to the gym with a friend who just joined up. She is the one I mentioned in the previous post who asked if anyone wanted to do a 5k. We put in an hour of cardio total. 30 minutes on the elliptical and then 30 on the recumbent bikes. Then we hit the weight machines. (Picture me flexing like Arnold here.) I'm sure that my triceps and inner thighs will be sore tomorrow! I may be walking around like I just got off a horse. YeeHaw!!
Tomorrow night we are going to be brave and try the hip hop class at the gym.
Look for me...I'll be the fatty in the back busting out a move!
Food intake today was ok. I didn't count calories, and I know I could have done better with portion sizes. I did drink a ton of water today though...I know because I hit the bathroom way more then usual. But I know that my body will adjust to the increase in water in time.
So tomorrow I need to do the second day of my running/walking intervals and then do the hip hop class at the gym. I must keep my water intake up and make better portion control choices.
But hey...the fatty didn't get any fast food, ice cream, or candy today!! Go Fatty Go!!!
